Genesis

Kendriya Vidyalaya AFS sarsawa was established in the year 1979. The school was formerly housed in the barracks of Air Force and got shifted to its permanent building in 1994. As it is nestled in the lush green and clean environment of defence sector with a safe and secure surroundings and a battery of appreciably professional staff, it was but natural for it to keep inching towards the pinnacle of its present reputation. Due to its wide spread popularity and unprecedented surge in the demand for admissions, adding
more sections was given a nod by the competent authorities and consequently it became a three section school in the academic session 2012-2013.

Apart from this , in keeping with the exigent administrative compliance vis a vis NEP 2020 and the concerning directives from KVS HQ , Balvatika III has also got introduced in the academic session 2023-2024.

Additionally the School offers Science, commerce and humanities streams at +2 level with a number of optional subjects as per KVS guidelines giving an opportunity to the students to opt for their choice of subjects along with wide range of facilities for co-
scholastic and co-curricular activities.
